Do you network to promote your business?


If so, do you do it effectively?  How do you know?  How do you measure your effectiveness as a networker?

According to Ivan Misner, founder of BNI, those who consider themselves successful at networking spend at least 6 1/2 hours a week networking.  Those who identified themselves as less successful at it, only spent 2 hours a week.

So how much time to you spend? Is it effective?  The same ideas can be applied to your social media networking plan as well.

While all the other reasons relate to why social media ROI is important for the needs of other people, this one is for you. You are spending time, energy and budget on making social media a success. If you really want it to be successful, it’s critical that you understand what’s actually working and what isn’t.
